There is not really too much I want to say in this blog post, but I'm just a really big fan of this activity that I did in a teaching workshop and want to remember it for the future. Basically, the idea is that beyond the material things you bring with you to a new place, you bring all of who YOU are. It was a very encouraging activity and it also allowed me to see all the strengths of the ETAs around me. After we created our suitcase, we shared with a partner who had to really listen because everyone was responsible for presenting their partner's suitcase.
